Hunter Richard Johnson, 23, of Nicollet, MN passed away on March 6, 2025. Hunter was born April 24, 2001 in Mankato, MN to Eric Johnson and Nicole Siirtola.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025 at Northview- North Mankato Mortuary. Casual dress preferred. A private family service will be held immediately to follow.

Hunter grew up in Mankato, MN and graduated from Kato Public Charter School. When he was young, Hunter was a member of the Boy Scouts, and later, the Police Explorers.
He was known for having a big heart for others and animals, which lead him to continue his education at South Central College for EMT training. Hunter was a volunteer for the Lake Crystal Ambulance Service and was loved throughout their community.
He was a jokester and always loved to laugh and crack jokes, no matter the circumstances. Hunter was also an avid car enthusiast and tinkerer. His hobbies included PC gaming, exploring the the outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting, collecting random stickers and patches, working on the ‘51 Ford with his dad and grandpa Bob, and spending time with those he was close to.
Hunter is survived by his parents, Eric Johnson and Nicole Siirtola; sister, Jasmyn Johnson; grandparents, Richard and Faith Johnson, and Vickie Siirtola; significant other, Victoria Woodring; and many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Robert (Bob) Siirtola.
