Irvin Theodore Neumann

Irvin Theodore Neumann, age 93, of Lake Crystal, died Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Living Meadows in Madelia.

Funeral service will be held 10:30am, Friday, November 12, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church in Lake Crystal with Reverend Henry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Lake Crystal Mortuary and also one hour prior to the service at church. Irvin was born March 4, 1928 in Lake Crystal to Theodore and Margaret (Jones) Neumann. He was united in marriage to Marlene Ranee Lewis on December 10, 1955 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He was employed by the City of Lake Crystal for many years until retirement. In his earlier years, he also assisted local cemetery caretakers with digging graves. Irvin was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Above all, Irvin loved spending time with his family and friends.

Irvin is survived by his five children, Ralph (Mary Beth Luca) Neumann of Dublin, OH, Doreen Neumann of Junction City, KS, Dale (Dawn) Neumann of Lake Crystal, John Neumann of Lake Crystal, and Mary (Charles) Norgaard of Lake Crystal; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Neumann.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlene; daughter, Carla; sister, Jeane.
