James “Jim” T. Frost, age 74, died Friday, April 24^th, 2020 at MCHS-Mankato.

Jim was born April 13, 1946 to Edward and Ethel (Podruzny) Frost in Lynwood, CA. The family moved to Mankato in 1947. Jim graduated from Mankato High in 1964, and went on to obtain his bachelors and master’s degrees from MN State University Mankato. Jim was a CPA and worked as an accountant for many years, most of those as owner of Frost Accounting in Mankato. He was currently working with clients at Frost Accounting.

Jim was united in marriage to Judy Blowers on March 31, 1967 in Mankato, MN. They later divorced.

Jim enjoyed many activities including traveling, gambling, movies, reading, and car racing. Jim and Sara Jane had recently very much enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Alaska, Montana and Las Vegas.  The MN North Shore was also especially meaningful for him.

Jim is survived by his special companion Sara Jane Osborne, of Mankato; his two children, Teri Frost of Minneapolis, Michelle (Eric) Mayo of Richfield; his grandchildren Nathan Frost-Tibben, Jonathan Mayo and Abby Mayo; his sister Judy (Jerry) Reinbold; nephew Bill Reinbold and fiancée Ann Etherington and niece Christine Reinbold.

Preceded in death by his parents, companion Susan Armstrong, and nephew Joe Reinbold.
