Jen was born in San Jose, California. Growing up in a Navy family, she lived throughout the country and abroad, including Okinawa and Guam. Jen was a 1992 graduate from New Ulm High School, MN. Jen enjoyed her employment at District 77 as a paralegal. She was also employed at, and transitioned through, Alltel, Midwest Wireless and Verizon Call Center. Jen’s true love for teaching littles came as she opened her daycare. With many hours of training, she became a two star rated provider for the Parent Aware Program. (For Blue Earth County and Nicollet County.) She loved and cared for the kids like they were her very own! Jen lived in North Mankato, MN. She enjoyed volunteering her time and energy to many different organizations. Jen was a big advocate for Jr and High School Bowling. While becoming the South Central Conference coordinator, she brought coordinating to a whole new level. It was her goal to try and recognize each and every bowler possible. Jen truly enjoyed being at the lake with her family. She also loved being a part of the “Jeep Hers” group. She searched and built her Jeep, “Air Therapy."
Jen had endless faith in the Lord. From her countless hours of Christian music to her quotes and several postings around the house. She set a strong example for all of us to follow. Jen’s infectious smile could light up the skies. Her commitment to kindness was always on display and truly amazing. There is no greater love than the love she showed for her family.
