Jerome "Jerry" Paul Klein

Jerome “Jerry” Paul Klein, age 79 of Mankato died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato.

A private graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Jerry’s Life at the VFW Morson-Ario-Strand (1900 North Riverfront Drive in Mankato) from 4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday December 1, 2021.

Jerome was born October 18, 1942 to Joseph and Veronica (Hoehn) Klein in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School. Jerome served his country in the US Army from 1963 – 1965.

He was united in marriage to Marsha Jean Hansen on September 16, 1967 in Mankato. Jerome worked many years for Wells Concrete as a crane operator. He was a member of American Legion Post 11 and the Local 49ers. Jerome loved watching western movies, bird watching, crossword puzzles and Bud Light.

He is survived by two daughters, Paula (Randy) Braam of Mankato, Trisha Klein of Le Center, MN; six grandchildren, Staci Klein, Cory Kraft, Amanda (Craig) Doring, Angel Davis Garland, Ryan Eugenius and Steven Eugenius. 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Allie Klein of Iowa; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marsha; brothers, Ted, and Orville.
