John Wendell Deuser

John Wendell Deuser, age 75, of Mankato, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at his home.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, March 12, 2021 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato. Private burial at Calvary Cemetery to follow. 

John was born December 27, 1945 to Jim and Catherine Deuser. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1964. He was united in marriage to Sandra Haefner on August 15, 1970 in Mankato. John was self-employed as a carpenter and flooring installer most of his life. In recent years, he enjoyed delivering papers for the Mankato Free Press.

John was a fun-loving, avid golfer who also enjoyed hunting, playing cards, dice, bowling, and socializing with family and friends.

John is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (Andrew) Rosenquist; son, Tony (Binh) Deuser; two granddaughters, Mikayla and Kamea; brothers, Jerry (Lois) Deuser and Richard (Suzie) Deuser; sister, Patricia (Pete) Kosbab; brother-in-law, Rich Rollins; also many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; sisters, Meris Deuser, Carol Rollins and Jeanette Winiarski; and sister-in-law, Lois Deuser.
