Jordis Lewis, 18, of Lake Crystal died suddenly beside his best-friend, Jackson on June 1, 2024. Jordis was born to Louie Lewis and Jamie Snow (Pahl) on July, 27, 2005 in Madelia, MN.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., June 21, 2024, in the Commercial Building at the Garden City Fairgrounds. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., June 20 at Lake Crystal Mortuary and will continue one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the funeral fund at Minnstar Bank in Lake Crystal or through Venmo or Cash App at $Jordisfuneralfund or @Jordisfuneralfund.
Jordis was the kindest soul you would ever meet. He would selflessly help absolutely anyone without hesitation. Jordis loved his family and friends, but especially loved his sisters and nephew. Jordis would light up a room with his personality and could make anyone smile or laugh with his goofiness. He loved hanging out at "the shop" tinkering with vehicles, but his proudest accomplishment was his mud truck, Trugger. Jordis loved to go mudding, go fishing, hang out with his family and friends at the campground, ride the 4-wheeler, and especially loved Audis.
Jordis is survived by his mother, Jamie (Scott) Snow of Lake Crystal, father, Louie (Gabe Hovey-Prescott) Lewis of Mapleton, sisters, Tristan Lewis of Lake Crystal, Desiree Lewis of Mankato, and Jazzy Snow of Lake Crystal. His maternal great-grandmother Madeline Jahnz of Lewisville, grandfather, Gary Pahl of Truman, paternal grandfather Dean Lewis of Lewisville, paternal grandmothers, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Carrie Pahl and his sister, Angela.
The dress code is casual apparel for the visitation and funeral.
Following the funeral and burial, we will proceed to Jordis' Grandpa's shop (43549 810th Ave. Truman, MN) for some lunch and celebration of Jordis' life.
