Joshua M. Gustavson

Joshua M. Gustavson, age 33, of Rochester, formerly of Mankato and Saint Clair, died on Friday, August 20, 2021 at his home.

Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m., one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. The service will be livestreamed and available on Joshua’s obituary page at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Joshua Michael, the son of Scott Gustavson and Mary (Harguth) Homan, was born on June 10, 1988 in Mankato. He grew up and attended schools in Mankato and Saint Clair. Joshua was a machine operator at Geotek in Stewartville. He enjoyed working on his cars, disc golf, fishing, but most of all he cherished his days with his 12 year old daughter, Taylor.

He is survived by his father, Scott (Kelly) Gustavson; mother, Mary (Doug) Homan; daughter, Taylor Gustavson; sisters, Kristen Gustavson, Ashley Gustavson, Macy Wurm, and Katie (Christian) Petschke; brother, Jake Homan; grandparents, Bev (Gary West) Gustavson, John (Sherri Golden) Gustavson, Connie Ertel, Paul and Karen Harguth, and Darlene Homan; uncle and best friend, Kraig Gustavson; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparent; great grandparents; and cousin, Travis Gustavson.
