Joshua Thrasher

Joshua Thrasher, age 28, of North Mankato, earned his wings on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Crossview Covenant Church in North Mankato. Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The service will be livestreamed and available at Joshua's obituary page at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Joshua was born on November 10, 1993 in Mankato to Michael Thrasher and Amelia (Waller) Williams. He graduated from Mankato East High School in 2012. Joshua loved spending time outdoors, especially at Duck Lake. He also loved traveling with his family and was able to swim with the dolphins in the Bahamas and Hawaii. Joshua participated in many events with Gillette Children’s Hospital. He enjoyed watching movies, WWE wrestling and the Minnesota Vikings. He even met a few Vikings players and the cheerleaders. He was a joy to everyone he met and will be remembered by his smile and the way he vocalized.

He is survived by his dad, Michael Thrasher; mom, Amelia (Scott) Williams; siblings, Mike Waller (fiancé, Angel), Marcus, Dylan, Kiana, and Madalyn; maternal grandma, Patsy Waller; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, Robert Wilson; paternal grandma, JoAnne Nelson; maternal grandpa, Arnold Waller; brother, Gavin; uncle, Howard Carter; and many other relatives.
