Judith Ann O'Meara

Judith Ann O'Meara, age 76 of Mankato, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Visitation will be 12:00pm Friday, October 11, 2024 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary followed by a short service at 1:00pm. Celebration of life will continue from 2:00-5:00pm at the Morson-Ario-Strand VFW, Mankato. www.mankatomortuary.com.

Judith was born January 29, 1948 in Waseca MN to Earl and Cecelia (Murphy) Hunt. She married Ronald Brubaker on November 15, 1969. Together, they had three children; they later divorced. She married Jerome O'Meara on May 9, 1997. Judith worked in retail and was a loyal employee at Shopko in Mankato for over 30 years before retirement. Her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her happiness and meant everything to her. Judith lived a full and loving life, surrounded by a caring family and life long friendships she made a significant impact on those around her.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her husband, Jerome; children: Ronald Eugene Brubaker Jr of Lake Crystal, Neely Rae Brubaker of Mankato, and Tony O'Meara of Hankinson ND; grandchildren: Cheyenne Renee (C.J. Lattimore) Brubaker of Janesville, MaKayla Sachiko Rosales of Mankato, Alexis Rae Carroll of Summerton SC, Dakota Lamont Brubaker of Sleepy Eye, Tyler James Anderson and Trey Scott Anderson both of Flintville TN; great-grandchildren: Ronan John and Lettie Jude Lattimore, Mateo Alexander, MaLeigha Sachiko Ceila and Jonah Joseph Rosales; siblings: Donald Hunt and Deborah (Ivan) Harshman; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughters: Robin Renee Brubaker, and Jennifer Marie Anderson.
