Kathleen "Cookie" Shaw

Kathleen ‘Cookie’ Shaw became an Angel on Saturday, November 16^th, 2019.  Cookie was born in Mankato, MN in 1953.  She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1971.  She lived around the Mankato area for her entire life.  Her career was spent serving others as a bank teller, which she did with pride for 35+ years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter ‘Sonny’ Grams; her mother, Wilma Grams; and her brother, Michael Grams.  She is survived by her husband, Randy Shaw; son, Jason with grandchildren, Trevor and Victoria; son, Ryan and daughter-in-law Cara with grandchildren, Dylan, Tyson, and Ashlee; sister, Diane; brothers, Raymond and Wayne; and 1 great grandchild (Leo). 

Those with the privilege of knowing Cookie knew that her greatest strength was serving others.  In every aspect of her life she was a blessing to everyone she encountered.  She was heavily involved in her church, and she led her family as the matriarch.  Cookie would tell you that the blessings she received were too numerous to list.  Her family and friends would tell you that number would pale in comparison to the number of blessings she bestowed on others.  She will be missed beyond words.  Heaven just got a little brighter.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary and will continue on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service.
