Kathryn Marie Beyer

Kathryn Marie Beyer, age 95, of Mankato passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 11, 2023, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1103 N. Broad Street, Mankato, with visitation one hour prior at the church as well. Burial will be in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, Mankato.

Born May 17, 1928, in Mankato, Minnesota, Kathryn was the second of two daughters of Harry and Ida Cooper.  Kathryn graduated from Mankato High School and worked as a data analyst for the Social Security Administration for over 30 years.  Kathryn married Melvin Carl Beyer in 1967.

Kathryn is survived by her niece, Nancy (Terry McCabe) Flowers; nephews, Bruce (Janet) Flowers, David (Lynn) Flowers; great nieces and nephews, Hazel Flowers-McCabe, Tyler Flowers-McCabe, Melissa (Dan) Pepper, Matthew Flowers, Anne (Charley) Lavin; great-great niece and nephews, Catalina Lavin, James Brooks Pepper, James Grayson Pepper, as well as many dear friends.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Beyer, her parents, Ida and Harry Cooper, and her sister and brother-in-law, Harriet and Floyd Flowers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1103 N. Broad Street, Mankato, Minnesota, 56001, or Vine Faith in Action, 421 East Hickory Street, Mankato, Minnesota, 56001.
