Kristi Ann Hough

Kristi Ann Hough went to her heavenly home to be in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 22, 2022.

Memorial service will be 11:00am Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Peace Lutheran Church, North Mankato. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00pm Wednesday as well as one hour prior to the service Thursday all at the church.

Kristi was born to Ray and Naomi Schultz on August 6, 1962 in Mount Pleasant Michigan and was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Clare, Michigan. Kristi graduated from Wausau West High School in 1980. She then graduated from Marshall Tech in Marshall WI with a degree in Radiology and Mammography. She met William Hough in 1981 and they were united in marriage on November 23, 1984 in Wausau. In their 42 years together they had many adventures including: tandem bike riding across Wisconsin, numerous motorcycle rides and opening a martial arts studio.

Kristi was the heart and soul around the studio. She was the driving force behind the studio taking in At Risk Kids and giving them a place to feel at home. She will be missed by everyone she met. Her beautiful smile lit up every room she entered. Her amazing singing voice was always the loudest at every church service.

Kristi is survived by her husband, Bill; children: Sarah (Ezra) Jones and Joshua Hough; grandchildren: Cora and Harrison Jones and Rylin Hough; sisters: Talie (Chuck) Miller, Anna Schultz, Amy (Rick) Bretschneider; brother Karl (Jill) Schultz; 13 niblings; and many more family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Naomi.
