Lawrence "Larry" Richard Edwards

Lawrence “Larry” Richard Edwards, age 64, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 in Mankato.

Larry was born on November 9, 1955 in Marshall, Minnesota to Veora Fay and Harvey Zuhlke.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Thompson) Edwards; his daughter, April Lynn Kump; son-in-law, Jason Lee Kump; and grandson, Zander Lee Kump; daughter, Leah Angela Folsom; son-in-law, Joshua Ryan Folsom; granddaughters, Annabel Lynn Mealy, Kyra Marie Folsom, Madilyn May Folsom, and Bren Delores Folsom. 

His favorite songs are spirit in the Sky and Radar Love, which he rocked all the time.

Larry was a man of passion and love, and he was quick to throw a joke. He loved to make everyone laugh and he held true to that until the end. He also loved hunting and fishing with his kids and grandkids. Most of their memories revolve around fishing. Larry gave his family lots of memories and traditions that they wouldn’t have without him. Up until his dying day when he gave his daughter April away at her wedding, his heart showed through. Larry loved his grandkids and had nicknames for each of them.

His undying love for his loving wife, Brenda, his daughters, and grandkids were his whole life. 

Larry will be sadly missed but we are glad that he is with god now and no longer in pain. May you fly high, Dad!

Memorial service will be held at 11am, Friday, October 23, 2020 at Mankato Mortuary. There will be no visitation prior to the service - please arrive by 10:50am to be seated. Masks will be required and seating will be limited due to COVID guidelines.
