Lenita Renae Struck, age 57, of North Mankato, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, with visitation continuing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Fairmont. Livestream will be available at www.mankatomortuary.com.
Lenita was born on June 14, 1967, in Fairmont, Minnesota, to Sylvan and Carolyn Struck. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Congregational Church in Sherburn and grew up in a loving home alongside her siblings, Leslie and William, as well as many foster siblings. A graduate of Sherburn-Dunnell High School, Class of 1985, she pursued higher education at St. Cloud State University and Minnesota State University. In 1988, she married Bruce Gratz in Fairmont, and together they were blessed with three incredible children. While she worked various jobs over the years, her greatest joy was being a stay-at-home mom. She had a love for crafting, raising monarch butterflies, going on walks, and spending time with her many pets.
Lenita is survived by her children, Alyssa (Foster) Graif of Roseville, Kasey (David) Ott of Redwing, and Alec Gratz (fiancé, MaeLea Harmon) of Mankato; grandchildren, Kennedy, Finley, Christian, and Lennon Graif; mother, Carolyn Struck of Sherburn; siblings, Leslie (Daryn) Stoltenberg of Mankato, William (Melissa) Struck of Le Seuer, and Robbie (Janet) Dicke of Rochester; special friend, Steve Schwager of Granada; father of her children, Bruce Gratz of Mankato, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Sylvan Struck.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for the creation of local pollinator gardens. Checks may be mailed to Greater Mankato Rotary Foundation, PO Box 63, Mankato, MN 56001.
