Leonard J. Neuenfeldt, age 88 of North Mankato, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Oak Terrace.

Funeral service is 11:00am Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Mankato with visitation at 9:30am. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. www.mankatomortuary.com

Leonard John was born October 28, 1931 in Vernon Center to Carl and Ava Marie (Klein) Neuenfeldt. He was a 1949 graduate of Fairmont High School. Leonard was united in marriage to Evelyn Swift on November 12, 1950 in Northrop. He was employed for 30 years as a miller for Hubbard Mill and later Cargill, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, going up north, traveling and dancing. He loved his family and always wanted to be remembered for trying hard to be a good father and grandfather.

Left to remember Leonard are his children: Alan (Lucy), Brenda (Stephen) Larson, Pam (Russell) Hock, Dawn (Steven) Rossow, Sandi (Kirk) Yungerberg, and Lea Neuenfeldt; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; siblings: Don (Cindy), Karen Hultquist and Elaine Rischmiller and Eileen Hough; special friend Doris Hoffrogge; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn in 2006 and siblings: Richard and Lorin.
