Lila J. Jongbloedt

Lila Jongbloedt, age 95, of St. Clair, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Benedictine Living in St. Peter.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato with a prayer service at 1 p.m. Interment will be 3 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Lila was born September 20, 1927 in Decoria township to Lawrence & Lydia (Hagemeister) Juliar. She attended the Burlison Country School & graduated from St. Clair High School in 1946. She attended the Mankato Commercial College & worked in Mankato before marrying Albert Jongbloedt June 10, 1947 at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. They lived on a farm east of St. Clair for 58 years and moved to Mankato in 2006. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church & ladies Guild.  She was a homemaker & enjoyed all the grandchildren & great grandchildren.  She loved her garden & flowers, baking cookies for the grandchildren.

They were parents of 6 children, 17 grandchildren & 21 great grandchildren and 2 twin great granddaughters in 2023. She is survived by Susan Rosa of Mankato, Chuck (Karen) of North Mankato, Ron (Myra) of Garden City, daughter-in-law Laurie Jongbloedt of Mankato, Denise (Bill) Hanson of Preston, and Julie of Wells; grandchildren, Brooke (Joel) Pfeffer of Canton, MN,  Dan (Inez) Haus of Boston, MA, Meghan Haus, Chad Jongbloedt of North Mankato, Jeremy Jongbloedt of Woodbury, MN, Greg (Betsy) Jongbloedt of Holly Springs, GA, Kevin (Erin) Jongbloedt of Conover, NC, Aaron Jongbloedt of St. Louis Park, MN, Melissa (Andrew) Manning of Jordan, MN, Justin (Angela) Inver Grove Heights, MN, Cody (Laura) Fleischfresser of Chanhassen, MN, LeeAnn Fleischfresser of Preston, Callie & Weston Jongbloedt of Mankato, MN, and Adam, Ben, & Dylan Kucera of Intl. Preceded in death by mother & father; husband, Albert; son, Tom; two brothers & wives, Merle & Vivian Juliar & Albert & Beverly Juliar; three sisters in law & husbands, Irma & Henry Seys, Selma & David Lynch, Leona & Hector Seys; sister in law, Sister Barbara Ann; brother in law, Francis Page; and brother in law, Maurice Jongbloedt.
