Lila Mae Larson, age 93, died Sunday May 19, 2019 at Laurel's Street Memory Care in Mankato.

Funeral will be 11:00a.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr., in North Mankato. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Northview and one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Lake Crystal Cemetery.

Lila was born May 16, 1926 to Miles and Rosie Smith. She attended Madelia School and worked at JC Penney in Mankato.  She then met and married Maynard J. Larson. After raising four children, she went to Mankato Vo-Tech for a Fundamentals Food Service class and started working at Mankato West High School. Lila enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing cards, traveling and was very active in church.

Lila is survived by her four children, Rosalyn (Ken) Polloway, Carmen (Curt) Hagge, Doug (Marilyn) Larson, and Becky (Bryan) Lamont; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many extended family.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maynard; sister, Ruth Gag; brothers, Arnold R. Smith, Howard M. Smith, Lloyd Smith, and Mervin Smith; half-sister, Sharon Smith; and infant twin granddaughters, Alycia A. and Cassandra M. Lamont.
