Linda Marie Voegele-Allore, age 61, of North Mankato, died Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home.
Linda was born May 12, 1959 to Lawrence Robert and Frances Marie (Swygman) Voegele in Owatonna. She attended St. Mary’s Grade School, and Marian High School until 1975, then attended and graduated from Owatonna Senior High School in 1977. She moved on to obtain her Associate of Arts from Mankato State University.
Linda was united in marriage to Lance J. Allore on February 12th, 1990, and they shared 30 years of happiness together.
Linda was employed by the Minnesota Security Hospital in St. Peter full time for 27 years before retiring in 2015, then staying on part-time until 2020.
Linda enjoyed helping others. She dedicated her free time to volunteering, making donation baskets for the CADA house in Mankato, as well as donating to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. She took joy in ensuring others would feel valued and loved. She also enjoyed participating in her church, Motown music, pontoon rides, playing bingo, watching the MN Timberwolves and MN Lynx, crafting fairy gardens, couponing, taking road trips, and calling her family members.
Linda is survived by her husband, Lance; children Gregory (Amanda) Naumann, Brock (Kelsey) Allore, Breanna Allore, and Kelsey Allore; stepchildren Guy Allore, and Ben Allore; brothers, David (Mary Lee) Voegele, and Gary Voegele; nieces, Julia Voegele, and Laura Voegele; and grandchildren, Emma and Blake Naumann.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Frances Voegele.
A memorial service will be planned by the family to take place later in the spring to celebrate the beauty of her life.
