Lorraine June (Bluhm) Schultz, age 88 of Beauford, MN passed away April 4, 2020 at The Beacon of Mapleton where she was a resident.
Lorraine was born to Ruben and Lillie (Schull) Bluhm April 9, 1931 in Decoria Township. She was a lifelong member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was baptized on May 17, 1931 and confirmed on April 2, 1944. She graduated from Mapleton High School in 1948. Lorraine married Wilbert B. Schultz on November 22, 1949 at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Willie and Lorraine were blessed with 5 children: Peggy, Suzette, Randy, Ronald and Tamara. Lorraine loved her family, her home, her gardens and her lawn. She took great joy in the appeal of her home. She was a dedicated housewife while raising her children. When her nest was becoming empty she started her own cleaning business. She met many families that became treasured friends.
Lorraine is survived by her children: Suzette (Scott) Drake of Chaska, MN, Ronald (Tamra) Schultz of Mapleton, MN and Tamara (Mark) Larson of St. James, MN. Grandchildren: Dr. Jamie Kling of Portage, WI, Krysti Kling of Shakopee, MN, Cory Drake of Dickerson, ND, Jodi Schultz of Boone, IA, Jessica Kline of Ames, IA, Sara Schultz of Mankato, MN, Blair Schultz of Mapleton, MN, Allison Larson of Spirit Lake, IA, Janelle Larson of Austin, MN and Garrett Larson of St. James, MN along with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by in-laws: Bob and Ethel Schultz of Madelia and Marlene Schultz of St. Clair.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Willie, her children: Randy Schultz and Peggy and John Kling, granddaughter: Kelli Drake, grandson: Troy Schultz, and her siblings: Lester Bluhm and Luverne Bergemann.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on September 11, 2021 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in rural Good Thunder with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Lorraine will be interred with her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and John Kling, at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Beauford.
