Louie was born January 27, 1936 in Minnesota Lake to Louis and Margaret (Brecht) Osdoba. He graduated from Minnesota Lake High School. Louie served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. After the military, he returned to work on the family farm. Louie married the love of his life, Ellie Thomas, on October 18, 1960 in Minnesota Lake. Louie served as a volunteer fire fighter, City Council Member and was a part of the original founders of the Motofest celebration in Winnebago. He was a kind person with deep faith and a big heart. Louie enjoyed gardening, playing cards and games with friends and family, NCIS, the Minnesota Twins, and regular visits to Baker’s Square. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. You could always count on him to be in the bleachers at all his kids’ sporting activities.
Louie is survived by his children, Todd (Deb) Osdoba, Becky (Charlie) Lloyd, and Paula (TR) Ressler; grandchildren, Jessica (Jon) Wheelock and Mitchell Lloyd, Logan Lloyd (Anna Langworthy), and Carly Lloyd (Jacob Barnard); great-grandson, Zander Wheelock; great-granddaughter Jacklyn Barnard; siblings Dorothy Aultman, Rita (Greg) Corcoran, Margaret (Loren) Stevermer, Louise Giese, William (Lyda) Osdoba, Ann (Gary) Mittelsteadt; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews too numerous to list. He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife, sister Elizabeth (Betty) Heaton, brother-in-laws, Troy Aultman, William Heaton, and Jim Giese.
