Mardella Pearl Jinkerson, 79, of St. Bonifacius and formerly of Mankato, passed away September 21, 2020 at her home.

A visitation will be held from 12-2p.m., Friday, September 25, 2020 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N Riverfront Dr., in Mankato with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.

Mardy was born November 11, 1940 to Pearl and Emma Jenkins in Lakefield, Minnesota. She graduated from Lakefield High School in 1959.

Mardy retired from Patterson Jewelry after several years. She enjoyed traveling with her significant other, Bob Schmitt and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed painting and was known as a being stylish woman.

Mardy is survived by her children, Lori (Mike) Kaye and Lance Jinkerson; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Dale (Brenda) Jenkins; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Jenkins and Janice Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; significant other, Robert Schmitt; great-grandson, Andres; sister, Elvina; and brothers, Willard, Leonard, Richard, and Lester.
