Mark "Berger" A. Sieberg

Mark A. Sieberg, age 65, of Lake Crystal, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato.  Visitation will be one hour before service on Saturday.  Family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato.

Mark was born September 5, 1956 to Marvin Charles and Joeann Margaret (Lange) Sieberg in Mankato.  He graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1975.  He married Kris Blachowske and they later divorced. Berger worked for Ullrich Construction, Don Swedberg Construction, and Electronic Repair. He was self employed for several years and retired from Taylor Corporation as a maintenance supervisor after suffering a stroke in September 2007.  Berger was a volunteer fireman for the Lake Crystal Fire Department for 20 years and also a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Berger loved and enjoyed music, collecting model classic cars, gambling, and his four-legged daughter, GJoe.

Berger is survived by his two sisters, Terese Sieberg and Judy (Mike) Hawker all of Lake Crystal; nephew, Michael (Kristi) Hawker Jr.; niece, Heidi (Dustin) Williams; great-niece and nephew, Raelynn and Mason; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Berger was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Theresa and Curt Lange, Anna and Leo Sieberg.
