Max Andrew Van Sickle was born and passed away on September 18, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Mankato. He weighed 3 lbs 12 oz and was 19” long. A private service will be held.

Max’s parents are Jesse and Nicole Van Sickle; brother, Jackson Van Sickle; grandparents, John and Kelly Sonnek, and Kim and Diane Van Sickle; great-grandparents, Clair Pearson, and Gene and Elaine Germscheid, aunts and uncles, Kara Van Sickle, and Jake and Taylor Sonnek; Godparents, Brian and Rachael Sather. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ruby Pearson, and Pete and Jean Ann Sonnek; paternal great-grandparents, Darrel and Marion Van Sickle; great-uncle, Kurt Pearson; great-aunt, Denise Maras and special cousins, Jacki Maras, Andra Sonnek and Nathan Fawley.

Funeral funds will be used to partner with Dena Iverson of CC Designs to purchase and donate a Carrying Cradle for Mayo Hospital, Mankato. A Carrying Cradle allows for a more dignified way to preserve stillborn babies while grieving families say their goodbyes.
