Michael Lee Mulenburg

Michael Lee Mulenburg, age 65, of Mankato, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at his home.

Michael was born November 27, 1954 in Granite Falls, Minnesota. He married Connie Peterson on February 8, 1973 in Mankato and they were later divorced. Mike joined the United States Marine Corp. on March 2, 1972 and was stationed in California before being honorably discharged from his reserve obligation on April 8, 1978. He was employed at Holtmeier Construction in Mankato. In his free time, Mike enjoyed socializing with friends over a cold Budweiser.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Kerry Mulenburg of Mankato and her children Kristi, Jade, and Emily; daughter, Sheri (Michael) Dorn of Mankato and their children Brylea and Tyler; son, Chad Mulenburg of Mankato and his daughter, Ella; siblings, Bob (Clio) Mulenburg, Doug (Cynthony) Mulenburg, and Wayne (Sharon) Mulenburg.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delilah; and sister, Irene.
