Micheal W. "Mike" Anderson

Micheal W. “Mike” Anderson, age 48, of Hanska, died on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at his home.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 105 Hosanna Drive, Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Hosanna Lutheran Church and will also continue at the church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Northview – North Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Micheal Wayne, the son of Wayne and Mary Gayle (Bakken) Anderson, was born on February 12, 1971 in Madelia. He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1989 and received his associate’s degree as an Autobody Technician at South Central College. On August 9, 1997, Mike married Michelle Keinz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato. He was employed at State Farm Insurance as an Insurance Adjuster for 18 years.

Mike had a passion for family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was always there to help a friend. He enjoyed playing bean bags, darts, cards and pool. He also enjoyed camping, four wheeling, deer hunting, and watching movies, basketball, and the Minnesota Vikings.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Anderson; children, Briana and Hunter; granddaughter, Peyton; parents, Wayne and Mary Gayle Anderson; siblings, Michele (Kevin) Anderson, Wade (Nikki) Anderson and Chad Anderson; uncle, Gary Bakken; aunt, Yvonne Lyons; nieces and nephews, Markes, Logan, Brenden, Jordon, and Madisyn; mother-in-law, Sandy Camp; father-in-law, Lee (Chaw Chaw) Keinz; sister-in-law, Tammy Enz; brothers-in-law, Rick Keinz and fiancé, Julie and Dave (Christy) Keinz; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin T. and Marlys Anderson and Gilbert and Leona Bakken; and stepfather-in-law, Brian Camp.
