Nan Rambo

Nan Rambo, 96, of Mankato and formerly of Vernon Center died February 23, 2023 at Laurel's Peak.

Funeral 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (3-4-2023) at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Mankato. Visitation one hour prior to the service and will continue immediately following the service all at church. Burial in Vernon Center Cemetery. Memorials preferred to an organization of the donor's choice. Mankato Mortuary handling arrangements. Service will be live-streamed.

Nan was born January 25, 1927, in Pasadena, California to William Henry and Dorothy Agnes (Gibbs) McGee. She graduated from Pasadena High School and later attended Mankato Vocational School for nursing. On May 11, 1946, she married Ronald W. Rambo in California and made their home in Vernon Center. This union was blessed with seven children. 

Nan worked at Good Counsel and Blue Earth Hospital as an LPN. She was a member of and church organist at Grace United Methodist Church-Vernon Center. She was an Avon representative and made numerous cakes for any occasion for family and friends. Her passion included music and family. 

Nan is lovingly survived by her children, Michael (Patsy) Rambo, Naples, Florida, Dennis (Cheryl) Rambo, Bradenton, Florida, James Rambo, Vernon Center, Linda Parsons, North Mankato, Linette (Brian) Irvine, Amboy, Vonnie (Terry) Henry, Naples, Florida; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Nan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; son, Steve, and daughter-in-law, Sharry.
