Nancy K. Miller, age 65, of North Mankato, died on July 27, 2019 at her home after battling cancer.
Born in St. Peter, MN to Ralph and Dorothy (Roskos) Warrant of Kasota, MN. She was the fourth child of five. Attended grade school in Kasota, high school in St. Peter and college in Mankato graduating in 1993 with a B.S. in Nursing from Mankato State College.
Her first marriage was to Steven Hultengren in 1973; later she married the love of her life, William D. Miller in 1997. Nancy worked as a nurse and nurse educator for over 25 years in the local area before recently retiring. She was an avid quilter and loved to make them for family, give as gifts and for those in need. Enjoyed gardening, camping and traveling. She volunteered with Brownies and Girl Scouts, EMT (Westport, OR) and with the church for many years. She was a caregiver for both of her parents. Mother of Amy and Tracy and bonus mom to Eric, Jon and Mindy, and grandmother to 5 wonderful grandkids with another one on the way.
She is survived by husband, William D. Miller; children, Amy Hultengren-Puskar (Steve) of San Diego, Tracy Hultengren-Martin (Michael) of Woonsocket, RI, Eric Miller of Mankato, Jon Miller (Sadie) of St Louis Park, MN and Malinda Miller (boyfriend, Jeff) of Mankato, MN. Grandchildren, Jake, Cameron, Landon, Berlin and Preston and many extended family members including siblings, Carol Prenzlow, Tom Warrant and Christine Pfeffer.
Preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Louise Warrant; parents; and sister, Judith Warrant.
Memorial service will be announced later.
Memorials are preferred to the local hospice program.
