Nicole E. Larson

Nicole Larson, age 39, of North Mankato, died unexpectedly from natural causes on May 21, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., June 21, 2024, at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., June 20 at Northview and will continue one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Nicole can be made to BENCHS, St. Jude, or Cambria Presbyterian Church.

Nicole was born on September 19, 1984, to Terry and Beverly (Bethke) Larson in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 2003 and South Central College in 2006, earning an associate's degree as a web/e-commerce programmer. Her love for web design started when she was 14, teaching herself how to code so she could create a website for an up-and-coming country trio. Throughout the years she took interest in various other artists and television personalities and was actively involved in those fan clubs. As a devoted and loyal fan, she was a leader in the fan club community. She attended concerts, meet and greets, races, etc. Some of her adventures took her to California, Texas, Chicago, and on a Caribbean Cruise.

Nicole worked for 11 years at a local non-profit before finding her happy place in the aisles of Menards. She enjoyed decorating and renovating her home, creating a cozy haven for herself and her dog of 12 years, Boomer. He was a loyal companion and a constant source of love and comfort in Nicole's life.

As we reflect on the loss of a life cut short, we find solace in knowing that Nicole was happy and loved. Her infectious laughter and humor brightened our lives and touched our hearts. We are immensely proud of the woman she became; her memory will continue to inspire us.

Nicole will be forever remembered and loved by her parents, Terry and Bev Larson of Mankato; brother, Kyle (Jessica) Larson of Denver, Colorado; nephew, Oren and niece, Adalynn; grandmother, Phyllis Imlay; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Maynard Larson and Martin Imlay; grandparents, Myron and Lucille Bethke; and uncles, Marvin Larson, Bill Imlay, and James Imlay.
