Norman "Norm" LeRoy Douglas

Norman “Norm” LeRoy Douglas, age 80, of North Mankato passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

Norm was born on July 8, 1944, to Raymond and Zelda (Foight) Douglas in Norton, Kansas. Norm enlisted in the Navy in 1962 and proudly served during the Vietnam War on the USS MAGOFFIN.

On December 29, 1976, he married Judith Gage. Together they raised five children. Norm worked as an EMT and lab technician before becoming a Nuclear Medicine Technician for most of his career.

Norm enjoyed fishing, hunting, coin collecting, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and most of all spending time with his family.

Norm is survived by his children, Tim (Angie) Boutin, Todd (Jodi) Boutin, Tammy Weldon, and Terri Boutin; 15 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Norm was preceded in death by his wife, Judith; son, Mark, and dog, Gauge.
