Patricia Ann Oftedahl

Patricia Ann Oftedahl, age 81 of Mankato died Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Oaklawn Health Care Center.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, at Grace Lutheran Church in Mankato. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Patricia was born July 14, 1942, to Wayne and Amanda (Halvorson) Nerem in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1960. Patricia attended the University of Minnesota. She worked at Carlson Craft, Sears in sales, owned Sweats n Trends and retired from the Mankato Clinic Radiology department.

Patricia was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a former Mankato Jaycee. She enjoyed softball and was part of the over 40 women’s league playing for the Crushette’s. Patricia was on a curling league and played golf. She really enjoyed laying out in the sun.

She is survived by her two children, Crystal Oftedahl of Danbury, WI and Chris Oftedahl of Mankato; her partner of 37 years, Lynn Sweet of Mankato; five grandchildren, Heather Truebenbach, C.J. Orduna, Courtney Gardner, Collin Gardner, and Oliva Oftedahl. Four great-grandchildren, Abbi, Sophie, Bella, and Jack; two brothers, Richard (Barb) Nerem and Randy (Shawn) Nerem; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother Steve.
