Patricia Ruth Panzram, age 90, of St. Clair, died Friday, April 16, 2021.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Mankato. Public Visitation will be Friday, April 23 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Mankato. Memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran Church.
Patricia was born July 7, 1930 to Harold and Esther (Rentz) Antonson in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1948, then attended Mankato Teachers College, graduating in 1952 with a major in English and a minor in Library Science and German. Patricia’s first teaching position was in Chatfield, Minnesota where she taught from 1952-54. She then taught in St. Clair from 1954 until her retirement in 1977. Patricia was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church, Mankato where she was baptized, confirmed, and married to George Panzram on August 27, 1960. Patricia enjoyed participating in, following, and attending sports events. She enjoyed spending time at her cabin on Reeds Lake and being with friends. She was an avid sports fan and was elected into the Mankato Softball Hall of Fame.
Patricia is survived by step-children, Jan Heimer of Colorado, Sandra Clausen of Zumbrota, and James Panzram of Waseca; and extended family and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents; brother, Jack Antonson; and a step-daughter, Debra Mosher.
