Patrick "Pat" E. Germo

Patrick “Pat” E. Germo, age 67, was called home by God unexpectedly from a heart attack at his home on March 27, 2024.

Memorial Mass 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Mapleton.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday at St. Teresa’s and will continue one hour before service on Saturday.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mapleton.  Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Patrick was born December 15, 1956, to John H. and Clarice L. (Phillips) Germo in Mankato. Pat graduated from Mapleton High School in 1975.  Pat worked for many years for the Beauford Co-op and Hennepin County Co-op in Maple Plain, MN.  Pat organized many horse supply shows at the Medina Ballroom in Medina.  Pat moved back to Mapleton in 2005.  The last many years he enjoyed helping local farmers and running his lawn and snow removal business. 

Pat loved to travel and spend time with family, friends, and the community of Mapleton.  Once in a while he enjoyed playing pull tabs and he also loved attending concerts.

Pat is survived by his mother, Clarice Germo; four siblings, Kathy (Jeff) Thayer, Jack (Martha) Germo, Dan (Alice) Germo, and Karen (Chuck) Springer; eight nieces and nephews; seventeen great nieces and nephews; four aunts, Mary Wolff, Carol Webb, Audrey Varpness, and Joni Phillips; extended family.

Pat was preceded in death by his father, John and extended family.
