Pearl O. Gohla

Pearl Miller Gohla, age 100, of Mankato, died on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024 at The Pillars of Mankato Assisted Living.

Memorial Mass will be held Friday, Dec. 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church , North Mankato with Monsignor Douglas Grams officiating. Visitation will be held 1hour prior to the service at the church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Pearl was born on January 21, 1924 in Blooming Prairie, MN ,to Mark and Clara Miller. She was employed as a School Cafeteria Cook. Pearl was united in marriage to Gerald Gohla and they were married 68 years before Jerry’s death in 2013. Pearl was very athletic playing power volleyball, softball with Mankato peppers, and tennis into her sixties

Pearl is survived by children, Mike ( Carol) Gohla of Manchester, CT; Patricia Gohla ( Ginny Rueter) of Rice, MN; Steve ( Mardi) Gohla of Andover, MN; Brad Gohla of Elysian, MN; Tom(Karen) Gohla of Elysian, MN; and Ann(Todd Schmidt) Hamman of Farmington, MN. 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Special mentions to Marilyn Clements of Spokane, Washington. Niece but like a sister to Pearl.

Pearl was preceded in death by parents, father Mark and mother, Clara Johnson Miller, and sisters Violet Kassner, Marlene Johnson, Ruth Herman, and brother Gordon Miller. and many wonderful friends.
