Priscilla “Perci” Ann Villa, 80, of Mankato, passed away December 4, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
A celebration of life and interment of ashes is planned for Summer 2021 in Ostrander, Minnesota. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Perci’s name. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family.
Perci was born October 23, 1940 to Victor and Geraldine (Thorson) Ruud in Bennington Township, Mower County, Minnesota. She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1958. During her time at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, she met Errol Villa. They married in 1959. Together, they raised three children: Rebb, Rhonda, and Chad.
Perci hung wallpaper and managed rental properties in the Mankato area. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, playing Bridge, Mahjong, crosswords and sudoku, attending plays, watching Jeopardy, and especially spending the recent winters in Florida with family.
Perci is survived by her sons, Rebb (Azeb) Villa and Chad (Beth) Villa; 6 grandchildren, Andru, Jon, Jordan, Jackson, Deborah, and Alex; siblings, Barbara (Jim) Sheldon, Larry (Cathy) Ruud, and Dan (Paula Hyatt) Ruud; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Errol in 2005; daughter, Rhonda Sanders in 2014; and brother, Steven Ruud in 2003.
