Raymond E. Kirchoff, age 92, of Mankato, and formerly of Eagle Lake, died on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Eagle Lake. Interment will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27th at the Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato and will continue at the church for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Raymond, the son of Ewald and Selma (Furst) Kirchoff, was born on October 13, 1926 in Gibbon. He served in the U.S Army. He was previously employed by Hallett Construction, Brown and Leguil Construction, and Borneke Construction. Raymond was a member of the American Legion and the Local 49 Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his dogs.
He is survived by his children, Robert Kirchoff and Deanna (Dean) Potz; stepdaughter, Barbie (Stan) Thomas; grandchildren, Matt (Angela) Potz and Joanna (Paul) Yanez; step granddaughter, Melanie; great grandchildren, Robert Lewis, Mackenzie Potz, Anthony Yanez, and Xander Potz; great great grandson, Brayden Lewis; sisters, Harriet Emans and Diane Duhen; and sister in law, Shirley Kirchoff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Grace in 1971; wife, Donna in 2004; and siblings, Loren Kirchoff and Marilyn (Gale) Beltz.
