Raymond “Ray” George Reinbold, age 95 of Mankato, died peacefully Friday, July 26, 2019 at Monarch Meadows in North Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s association.

Raymond George Reinbold was born November 29, 1923 to Laurence and Elanor (Guentzel) Reinbold in Mankato, Minnesota. In 1944 Ray served his country in the US Army from 1944 until 1946 and was stationed in the Pacific Theater. Ray was united in marriage to Patricia Rieff on May 22, 1946 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato. They farmed and raised their three daughters in rural Mankato. Ray was a Pioneer Seed salesman for 23 years.

Ray played baseball for Rapidan in his youth and coached girls softball later. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato and a former member of the VFW 950 and

 4-H leader. He enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, the neighborhood card club and his family.

Ray is survived by his three daughters, Janet (Mike) Mans of Nicollet, Nancy (John) Fossum of Bigfork, Sandi (Dan) Fogal of Mankato; ten grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pat in 2013; and infant son, Thomas.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Monarch Meadows for the wonderful care he received for the past eight years.
