Robert Knutson

Robert "Bob" Knutson, 76, of Mankato, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on November 2, 2023. 

He was born and raised in Huron, SD. He was an active and involved young man who became one of the youngest Eagle Scouts in the nation. He graduated from USD in 1969 where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. In 1970 he married Nancy Clark. They enjoyed the first two years of their marriage in Hawaii where Bob served as a First Lieutenant in the US Army. He was a respected businessman as a CPA and CFP in Mankato for 47 years. He was active in the community in many volunteer organizations. Bob loved golf and was a member of the Mankato Golf Club for over 40 years. He also enjoyed travel and time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Brady (Tina); daughter, Lindsey (Michael Henning); grandsons: Theodore and Asher Knutson; brother, Don; and several nieces and nephews.
