Robert E. "Bob" Probach

Robert E. “Bob” Probach, age 79, of Mankato, died on Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home after a long battle with COPD.

Celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Dakota Meadows Middle School, 1900 Howard Drive, North Mankato.

Robert, the son of George and Mildred (Austin) Probach, was born on July 27, 1939 in Waseca. He married JoAnn Tolberd on May 18, 1957. He was an auto tech for Dalton Motors, Kato Cab and All American Towing.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, JoAnn of Mankato; children, Boni (Clyde) Thompson of Lake Crystal, Carmen Yee (Don Kopp) of North Mankato, Terri Sundstrom (Bob Williams) of North Mankato, Robert (Kelsey) Probach of West Mankato, and John Probach (Sarah Derner) of Mankato; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and sisters, Marion Kvam and Jeannine (Steve) Friedrich.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bruce and Dora May; and loving partners (dogs), Molly and Mitsee.
