Roberta Ann Holcomb

Roberta Ann "Granny" Holcomb (Blume), 84, of Mankato, MN, passed away on February 22, 2024, in Mankato, MN. She was born on April 13, 1939, in Mankato, MN.

Roberta, known affectionately as "Granny," was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married Donald Nordskog and they had 2 children before divorcing. She married George Holcomb on May 8th 1964, they had 2 children. Together they raised the children and then enjoyed spending time with their Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren until his death in July of 2008.

Roberta worked for Burger King for several years. She also enjoyed playing bingo, cards and gambling. She spent a lot of time watching her favorite TV channel, The Game Show Network, and doing puzzles.

She is survived by her children: Debra (Allen) Betts, Jeffrey (Tamara) Holcomb, and Charles (BobbieJo) Holcomb. Roberta was a cherished grandmother to Rebecca Betts, Jess Betts, Jessica (RJ) Holcomb, Ryan (Danielle) Holcomb, Douglas (Amber) Ballard, Ashley (Chuy) Villarreal, and Ayla Holcomb, along with 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Mary, Margaret, Richard, Muriel, and William, sister-in- law Geraldine Holcomb, and many nieces and nephews.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband George, daughter Victoria, mother Gladys Ahl, father Raymond Fradenburgh, grandson Christopher Betts, and brother Howard Ahl.

A visitation will be held on March 9th from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Northview Mortuary, ( 2060 Commerce Dr., N. Mankato).

Roberta will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
