Ronald L. Freundl

Ronald Leo Freundl, age 78, of North Mankato, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023, at Oak Terrace, North Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marysburg.  Visitation will be one hour before service.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Northview – North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Ronald was born on October 17, 1944, to Phillip and Rose (Mettler) Freundl in Mankato.  One of seven children, he is survived by one brother, Keith (Cherie) Freundl of Mankato, and many extended family members.

Ron attended school locally in Mankato.  He served 6 years in the National Guard.  Most of his years of employment were spent in the Mankato Public School System, working in maintenance.  Ron loved spending time with his dogs, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.  His door was always open and welcome to family who needed housing during their college years.  Ron especially enjoyed Wednesday night “garbage night”.

His infectious laugh will surely be missed by all.
