Ronald James Rausch age 90 passed away Saturday December 19, 2020 at his daughter’s home in rural Mapleton.

A private family funeral service will be held.

Ronald J. Rausch was born January 14, 1930 to Raymond and Josephine (Schwab) Rausch in Mankato. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1947. Ron attended Vo-Tech school before serving his country in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He was united in marriage to Mary Alice White on November 13, 1956 at St. Henry Catholic Church rural Le Sueur County. Ron farmed in the Waldorf area for most of his life. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waldorf.

Ron enjoyed auctions, reading, crossword puzzles and photography.

Ronald is survived by his three children, Ronald Rausch of Circle Pines, MN, Linda (Pat) Smith of Mapleton, MN, Kathy Bock and Kevin Timm of North Mankato; seven grandchildren, Andrew Rausch, Nathan Rausch, Jason (Stephanie) Dickie, Mary (Matt) Mahowald, Stephanie (Nate) Holt, Tori (Tyler) Eckert and Alex Bock; four great-grandchildren, Aiden and Asher Mahowald, Lillian Holt and Jameson Eckert; brother, Gerald (Donna) Rausch of Mankato; two sisters, Marcy (Jerry) Dotson of Brier, WA, Marilyn (Del) Anderson of Cross Lake, MN; nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Alice and sister, Marge Guentzel.
