Ronald "Ron" Edward Scheider

Ronald Edward Scheider, 85, passed away peacefully at the Birchwood Cottages of North Mankato on November 13, 2024.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday, November 22, 2024, at Hosanna Lutheran Church of Mankato with visitation one hour prior. Burial at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Good Thunder will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to Hosanna Lutheran Church of Mankato or the Blue Earth Nicollet County Humane Society.

Born October 31, 1939, to Edward and Delia Scheider in Mankato, Minnesota. He was baptized November 16, 1939, and confirmed March 29,1953, at St. John Lutheran Church, Good Thunder, Minnesota. Ron graduated from Good Thunder High School in 1957. He married Betty Yaeger at St. John Lutheran Church, Rapidan on December 16, 1961. Ron farmed all of his life until retirement.

Survived by his daughters, Julie (Dan Madigan) of St. Paul, MN, and Jill (Mike Kelby) of Balsam Lake, WI; and nieces and nephew, Carrie (Yaeger) Ellington, Cindy (Yaeger) Slater, Linda (Keller) Dickey, Susan (Keller) St. Ores, and Richard Keller.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edward, and Delia Scheider; wife, Betty Scheider; sister, Junice; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and James Keller; as well as aunts and uncles.
