Rose Etta Hruby

Rose Etta Hruby, age 89, of North Mankato, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at her home.

Due to COVID-19, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato following the service. Celebration of Life service recording and video tribute will be available online at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Rose Etta, the daughter of John and Alta Mae (Clark) Eccles, was born on October 1, 1931 in Eagle Bend. Rose’s greatest enjoyment was her love of family, cooking and baking.

She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Hruby of 68 years; 10 children, Rose Ann (Wayne) Timm, Patty (Mike) Schaffer, Gail Sadaka, Mark (Sherrie) Hruby, Don (Deb) Hruby, Dan Hruby, Bill (Janet) Hruby, Pam (Steve) Steele, Jan (Pat) Sullivan, and Greg Hruby; 30 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 16 and ½ great great grandchildren; siblings, Bob Eccles, Cliff Eccles, Judy (Larry) Griffith, and Barbara Raiber.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debby; grandson, Travis, great grandson, Grant; son in law, Charles Sadaka; sisters and brothers in law, Juanita (Ray) Vulcan, John (Betty Ann) Eccles, Genevive (Richard) Johnson, Liz Eccles, Etta Stuber, Sylvia (Clifford) Compton, and Pat Raiber.
