Rose "Rosie" Mary (Weller) Allen

Rosie passed away peacefully at the age of 81 in her home on November 23, 2024 surrounded by all her family. 

Rosie was born to Lester & Marcella (Neidecker) Weller in New Ulm, MN on May 7, 1943. Rosie married Ralph (Bud) Allen on November 23, 1963 and they moved to Eagle Lake from Mankato in 1976. Rosie became a stay-at-home house wife and mother in 1974 where she raised two wonderful children, Brent & Jennifer.

Rosie enjoyed family, friends, casinos, craft sales, walking with her husband and spending time with grandchildren.

Rosie is survived by her husband, Ralph "Bud"; son, Brent (Melissa) Allen and granddaughters, Ashlyn and Aleyah; daughter, Jennifer Allen; and son, Tom (Julie) Wieczorek; extended family, Peter & Kaysie Weller, Carol & Ken Schlender, Al & Mary (Lyons) Weller, Dennis Weller, and Mary Koskovich Weller; plus many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ann Malecha; brothers, Lester (Sonny) Weller and Donald Weller; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Becker; brothers-in-law, Myrle Allen and Dale Becker.

A special thank you to Mayo Hospice for helping in her last few months. 

A private family service will be held at a later date. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
