Ryan “Horse” W. Gohlinghorst’s 7 ½ year cancer journey ended at home on Sept. 13, 2021, surrounded by family and friends that loved him (and may, at times, have exasperated him).
Horse worked in various fields throughout the years, but his passion was videography. His website, ButtStrong.com, brought hope and comfort to many people newly diagnosed with cancer, cancer survivors, and anyone facing life’s challenges; he did this through honesty, sarcasm, and an upbeat disposition.
Horse is survived by his wife, Allison Bluhm; parents, Kenneth and Shirley (Schmitz) Gohlinghorst; sister, Correna Nordlund; nieces, (Frey, Chloe, Kennady); and mother-in-law, Cheryl (Larvick) Bluhm.
