Saada Sadaka passed away at the Mayo Hospital on Sunday September 22 with her family by her side.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2019 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM., until the 11:00 AM service at the church. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

She was married in 1947 to Habib Ibrahim Sadaka in a small town in the Bekaa Valley Lebanon. Saada and her husband raised seven children in their small hometown in Lebanon before migrating to the United States in 1984 to follow her son Charles and his wife Gail’s dreams to reunite the family in America. Saada lived a very selfless life nourishing her family daily with her excellent cooking and her passionate faith. She raised her 18 grandchildren with the same love and patience as her own children. Her caring heart brought many people from all over the community seeking her strong beliefs and prayers. Love, Faith and Family was Saada’s whole world.

She was survived by her six children, Marie (Eli) Saker,  Eva (Robert) Larocque, Milad (Rita) Sadaka, Harriet (Jim) Abdo, Tony Sadaka, Souraya Sadaka;  daughter- in-law, Gail Sadaka; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Habib, her oldest son, Charles Sadaka, and her son-in-law, George Sadaka.
