Sandra Louise Davis

Sandra L. Davis, age 69, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning, March 29, 2024. 

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.   Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. 

Sandy was born in St. Paul, MN on July 27, 1954 to Arthur James Lund, Sr. and Frances Mildred Enders Lund.  She moved to Mankato with her family as a child.  Sandy eloped to South Dakota on August 31, 1977 to marry Robert Davis.  This union produced the two children she loved fiercely and devoted her life to, Christina and Bobby.  Sandy worked at and retired from Mankato Rehabilitation Center Inc.  She spent her time scrapbooking, making bead jewelry, playing cards (rummy), putting together puzzles, taking pictures, and shopping at the Dollar Store.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Tom and Luci and babysitting her dog-niece, Lola.  

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Christina Marie Davis (significant partner, Chris Boyer) of Mankato; two brothers, Arthur Lund, Jr. (Christine) of Chattanooga, TN and Robert Lund of Kewaunee, WI; two sisters, Luci (Thomas) Bowen of Madison Lake, MN and Donna (Alan) Loeffler of Altura, MN.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband; son; grandchildren, Rylie and Jeffrey; and two sisters, Arlene and Marilyn.  

She will be missed until we see her again in heaven.
