Stanley Gene Healy, age 90, of Mapleton, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Mapleton Community Home.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, a private family graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Mapleton. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Stanley was born March 26, 1930 in Faribault County to Charles and Viola (Klint) Healy. He attended country school at the Chaffee Schoolhouse , then at the age of ten they moved to the current family farm in Grapeland and attended school there until he started high school in Mapleton for one year. On June 7, 1949, he married Audrey Stencel at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake. Together, they raised four children, Charles, Joann, Debra, and Judy.
His love of family, friends and farm was as strong as his faith. A man with a loving and giving heart, we will miss him dearly.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 70 years, Audrey; children, Chuck (Marsha Johnson) Healy, Joann (Jim) Gartner, and Judy (Tim) Rohde; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren with one expected in June; son-in-law, Jeff Wallace; sister, Mary (Luther) Hall; brother, Emery (Hope) Healy; sisters-in-law, Margaret Dickhoff and Mildred Stencel; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by, his parents, daughter, Debra Jean Wallace; daughter-in-law, Theresa Healy; and sister, Charlotte McCarthy.
