Stuart J. Good

Stuart Good, Born February 13th, 1963 traveled to heaven on December 18th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones in the comfort of his own home.

In memory of Stuart, memorial services will be held on Monday, December 30th at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church @ 423 W 7th Street, Mankato. Visitation starting at 10:00AM prior to the funeral starting at 11:30AM, celebration of life to honor Stuart will be held immediately after services. The family would like to thank everyone for their support, loving messages & cards. Special thank you to the Mayo Hospice nurses and social workers that made it possible to honor Stuart's wishes of being in the comfort of his home in his last weeks on earth.

Stuart, a loving husband, father, son & sibling leaves behind a large family & many friends after a fearless battle with cancer. Throughout his battle, he inspired those around him with his positivity and bravery in the face of what was to come. He continued to make memories, stayed active throughout the entire experience, cracking jokes, going on bucket list adventures, and being with those he loved. Recently, Stuart travelled to Oregon alongside his wife and dear friends. Stuart was eager to create memories with those he loved.

Stuart was born on February 13th, 1963, and grew up in Le Sueur MN. He was born the youngest of six, alongside his slightly older identical twin Steven. There, he made lifelong friends and memories, graduating from Le Sueur High School (class of 1981). Stuart attended Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he met his wife Christine Good. He graduated with his Bachelor of Mathematics. Later, the two settled in North Mankato where they built a tremendous community of friends and family.

His legacy lives on with two sons Spencer and Grant Good. Stuart was extremely proud of the men they've become, as they inherited many traits of the kind-hearted man that Stuart was. Stuart had a passion for all things living, especially his plants. Stuart was known for his collection of orchids and beautiful gardens.

His marriage to Chris Good was a beautiful partnership of trust, love, faith, and respect. They continued to nurture and grow together over their thirty-three years of marriage. Stuart's family was the heart of his world and we all felt it.

Stuart is survived by his loving wife, Chris Good. Sons Spencer (Fiancé Emily Rutherford), Grant Good, Mother Ethel Good, siblings Perry (Wife Patti Good), Randy (wife Sandi Good), Kari Halverson, Marc (wife Beth Good), twin brother Steven (Wife Lisa Good). Patty & Phil Lehner (Mother-in-law & Father-in-law), Rick Chilman (Wife Gail Chilman), Brian Chilman (Katie Anderson), Margot Weyhe (Husband Rich Weyhe), Laura Lehner (John Chevalier). Alongside many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Stuart was preceded in death by his father Larry Good many Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents.
